Craft Ideas

While the traditional lagerphone is quite tall, for our purposes they can be made using a piece of timber only about 30cm long.
The two examples on this page used about a dozen bottle tops (crown seal style) which can be obtained from bottles, or bought new in the beer-making supplies. at your local supermarket. Punch a hole through each cap with a large nail. A small nail will hold each pair of caps on to the timber (do not nail tightly!). The caps should be loose enough to rattle when the lagerphone is tapped on the ground/table etc.
